Restylane
Restylane cosmetic dermal filler is made of non-animal-based hyluronic acid. Hyluronic acid is a natural occurring substance found in our skin and other tissue, and is used to provide moisture and fullness to the skin. The hyluronic acid is biodegradable and completely biocompatable with human hyloranic acid. Restylane is used to fill moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds-the creases that extend from the corner of your mouth. Once injected, Restylane immediately adds fullness to your face giving you a visible result at the first treatment session. Restylane can also be used to create fuller, plump lips. Studies have shown that the average Restylane treatment results last between six and nine months, and in some cases, even longer.
Juvederm
The active ingredient in Juvederm dermal filler, hylauronic acid, is naturally occuring, biodegradable complex sugar found in the human body and in all living organisms. Among other things, hylauronic acid hydrates the skin and adds volume contributing to the overall appearence to the skin. Juvederm Ultra and Juvederm UltraPlus can last up to one year.
